Harp Joinery is an independent joinery company, producing high quality joinery and timber framed structures based in Shropshire.

Since coming to Shropshire in 2006 the company has grown considerably and now employs a team of highly skilled joiners and carpenters. As well as producing high-quality work, the company prides itself on being able to offer employment training to new joiners. The success of which is borne out by one of our young joiners winning 2013 Apprentice of the Year, at Hereford Technical College.

Our Process:

From the initial idea to the finished product…
Methods:

We pride ourselves on the fact that we use traditional methods in the production of our joinery, from the initial drawing stage right to the finished product. These methods are used in all of our joinery whether it be for listed buildings, where heritage and conservation are the key factors or for modern buildings, where we work to modern building regulations, using the most up to date double glazed units.

Materials:

We use every kind of sustainable timber, whether it be for joinery or timber frame buildings. This includes tropical hardwoods such as Sapele and Utile, American softwoods, such as Tulip wood and Douglas Fir and European woods such as French Oak.

We also use French Oak for our oak framed structures as well as locally sourced English timbers like Cedar, Larch and Douglas fir.

Workshop:

In our extensive workshop we are able to produce all kinds of joinery from doors, windows and staircases to bookshelves, kitchens and cupboards of all shapes and sizes. Our space allows us to have an assembly area for our timber structures.

We specialise in all types of joinery, from architectural to bespoke furniture, and all types of timber framed buildings. So feel free to make an enquiry and we’ll be happy to give you a quote.
